No I did not put any shading in or fancy detail… the much thats in here alone took well over five hours. It turned out well enough.

This is the first time I’ve seen all the elements in the same place in a story.

This update is taking longer than expected; and has resulted in me rethinking my choices in art style.

From now on whenever there are more than 2 - 4 ponies in plain sight in the image I will use simpler template-ish ones like this one here.

The reasons for this are:

• I’m actually more focused on the story than the art, and the time between updates is making me feel like it isn’t going anywhere.
• This is actually also so I know roughly what they look like, these are mostly existing characters with designs by other blogs. (Weepy is one of the big impacts.) I want them to be true to the original, and will confess I can’t draw them very well. The worst offender is this naughty little pony pictured above. I spent ages making sure Darkly’s hair was just right.

Sorry for taking the easy way out but updates need to be more regular.

And yes this is only when group or long distance shots are involved, they’ll have full images in the next update too.

OOC: You go AJ! One of the big biggest reasons I haven’t updated in a while is that drawing takes be so long. 
This template image you have created looks so fantastic however! I wish I could create something so simple, and yet so effective.

Happy (Late) Hearts and Hooves Day!

These where my tumblr crushes on Valentines Day. I thought I’d send some (late) fan messages to some of my favourite pony blogs. 

Love Letters:  Sweet little long neck pony! I have never met her, but I know she loves me back!

Weepy Cry: Poor little cutie. Weepers is one of my biggest inspirations. I want to wipe those tears away! 

Backy: Obviously one of the smexiest ponies of the tumblrpon. Had to put some extra pixels in there to get her butt right. 

Scoota-bot: Love this little Autobot! Although she is Cybertronian, she has the purest heart out of any living pony.

Pun Pony: There is nothing I find sexier than a bad pun. Period!

Puppy Smiles: Puppy is the cutest little thing ever to put into a radiation suit. Her art always makes me smile. 

Squeaky Clean: Shovel obsessions aside, this pretty Pegasus has always been my kind of crazy. She’s really pretty too!

Bonafied: More pony puns! Lots of Love-A-Bon!

Cutie Pie: Cuteness incarnate, and a lil’ sweetheart as well. Watching Cutie’s art improve has been a true inspiration.

MOD: Hey guys. I’d love to keep going with my story, but I haven’t had any new questions in a good long time!

They are just angry at us for being their natural foil; with our highly magic resistant bodies. If you react enough to it you’ll get ganged up on and usually publicly shaved, but they can get carried away sometimes…

Pegasi however will generally leave you alone until you’ve offended or tempted enough of them, then they carry you into the air and play a game of ‘drop the pony on the sharp fence or roof spire’.

Amblelyn is not a nice place to be if you’re an Earth, but you’ll still survive if you keep your nose down. And hope your plot isn’t big enough to attract unwanted attention…”

Amanita: ”Don’t tell me they play ‘plow the pony in the streets’ too…!”

Lariat: “Nope, that’s a little too nasty!”

Bootlegger (listening from upstairs): “I think you’ve gotten them talking, that’s good, finding out what her problem is should be easier now.”
